Mission Statement:
EPISD’s Career and Technical Education provide all students an equitable and rigorous education to enhance their creativity and critical thinking skills. CTE will offer each student a seamless transition from their program of study to post-secondary education and/or entry into the global workforce to become contributing members of the community.
Vision Statement:
EPISD’s Career & Technical Education vision is to implement innovative instructional methods, provide a cutting edge and rigorous culture of learning, and inspire our students to become passionate about their college and career readiness.

- Increase Student Enrollment in CTE Courses to include all sub group populations
- Implement CTE Program Awareness Across the District
- Non-traditional students
- ELL and SPED students
- Inspire Students with Opportunities to Obtain Industry Certification
- Integrate accountability and performance in PEIMS and PBMAS
- Individualize a Program Of Study using EPISD’s College and Career Readiness Planner (CCRP)
- Introduce new articulation and dual credit offerings with post-secondary institutions
- Improve collaborative relationships with stakeholders
- Incorporate CTE Programs to meet student request
