College and Career Readiness Plan (CCRP) Program of Study: (CCTE) Graphic Design

First Year: Graphic Design:HT3C3AY2 or HT3C3DY2 (Dual Credit)

Year long course/1.0 credit per semester

Careers in Graphic Design span all aspects of the advertising and visual communications industry. This course introduces the student to a broad understanding of the graphic arts industry. It focuses on the fundamental elements and principles of visual art, advertisement, and design. Upon successful completion of this course, students may have the opportunity to test and obtain an Adobe Certification.

Second Year: Advanced Graphic Design: HT4C30Y2

Year long course/1.0 credit per semester

Careers in Graphic Design span all aspects of the advertising and visual communications industry. Students will develop an advanced understanding of the graphic design industry with a focus on mastery of content knowledge and skills. Upon successful completion of this course, students may have the opportunity to test and obtain an Adobe Certification.
